These terms govern your use of the O3 Drive rider app and the rides you book through it. By creating an account or booking a ride, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
Drivers using the O3 Drive Driver app are covered by separate Driver Terms of Service. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
O3 Drive is a technology platform that connects passengers with drivers operating within our service area. We arrange the transport and handle payment for it. Availability depends on drivers being online and within range, and we do not guarantee that a driver will be available at any given time.
O3 Drive currently operates in and around Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Both your pickup point and destination must fall within our serviceable area — a booking outside it will be declined by the system.
Your final fare may differ from the estimate. O3 Drive charges partly on the actual time your trip takes, so the amount payable at the end is calculated from the real trip duration, not from the estimate shown when you booked.
Executive bookings require identity verification. To use them you must submit your National Identification Number and a photograph of your government-issued ID. Verification is reviewed by O3 Drive staff and may be approved or declined; if declined, you will be given a reason. Submitting false or altered identity documents will result in permanent removal from the platform.
Where offered, the safety escort option adds an accompanying escort to your trip for an additional fee. It is a convenience service and does not constitute personal security or protection services.
While using O3 Drive you must not:
You are responsible for damage you cause to a vehicle beyond normal wear, and we may charge you for cleaning or repair.
After a trip you may rate your driver and leave a review. Reviews must be truthful and must not be abusive, defamatory or discriminatory. We may remove reviews that breach this, and we use ratings to monitor service quality.
Drivers on the platform are independent operators, not employees of O3 Drive. We are responsible for operating the platform, arranging the booking and handling payment. Drivers are responsible for the safe and lawful operation of their vehicle.
We aim to keep the app available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, network problems, device issues or matters outside our control may interrupt it, and features may change or be withdrawn as the service develops.
To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, O3 Drive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed appointments, flights or connections, lost profit, or loss arising from delay. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, or if your conduct puts the safety of a driver, escort or another passenger at risk. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Outstanding balances remain payable, and we may retain records the law requires us to keep.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Where a change materially affects your rights we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. We encourage you to contact support first — most issues are resolved quickly without escalation.
